An Invitation

Would you like to be :

  • A one-to-one reading, math, or computer tutor?
  • An English-as-a-Second-Language tutor?
  • A classroom assistant?
  • An administrative volunteer?
  • A newsletter contributor?

Come to a VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION

Learn about LIteracy Source programs and meet others interested in literacy. If you're interested, you can sign up for local TUTOR TRAINING WORKSHOPS, which are required for working directly with Literacy Source students. However you'd like to be involved, an orientation is your first step.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES ORIENTATIONS are usually held the 1st Wednesday of every month. The next available orientations are:

Wednesday, December 3, 2008: 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday, December 3, 2008: 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday, January 7, 2009: 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday, January 7, 2009: 6:30 p.m.

After each orientation, we schedule individual interviews with those who wish to get started at the Center. Please call us at 206-782-2050 if you know you will be unable to attend any of the above sessions and you wish to be notified of the next orientations.
