Community Engagement Workshops
Our Community Engagement Workshops provide fun opportunities for students, volunteers, and staff to build community while learning about new resources, exploring new places, and participating in a wide range of civic, social, educational, and cultural events. Guest speakers, field trips, informational sessions, and center celebrations are planned on a monthly basis.
Past workshops have included mock elections, tours of the Central Library and Ballard Locks, stress management workshops, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day March and Rally, and volunteering at the Emergency Feeding Program food bank.
