Partnering with Literacy Source
Our neighbors, co-workers, employees, friends and community members in King County today speak more than 80 languages, but English is our common ground.
Literacy Source teams with local employers and community agencies to provide English language and literacy instruction for the refugees and immigrants who live and work in our community.
Employers:
Do you ever run into…
- employee mistakes due to miscommunication?
- time lost repeating simple directions and correcting errors?
- employees not completing forms or reports for no apparent reason?
- high turnover?
Did you know?
Immigrants will account for half of the growth in the nation’s working-age population between now and 2015 and all of the growth between 2016 and 2035.
