Student Support
All students at Literacy Source are provided with the individualized support and services they need to help them achieve their goals. Staff work with each student to identify potential barriers, recommend appropriate resources, and provide help in order to encourage student success. Student Support Services at Literacy Source are crucial to allowing each learner the chance to take full advantage of the services that Literacy Source has to offer.
How to Request Support Services
If
you are an instructor or tutor, let your staff contact know you would
like a Student Support Survey to fill out for one of your students who
is in need of services. If you are a current student, please talk to a
staff member to request help.
For Social Service Providers
To refer your clients to Literacy Source, please call
and sign
your client up for a new student orientation. Make sure to mention your
name, phone number and organization. If you are a DSHS case manager or
social worker referring a client under the WorkFirst program, please
ask to speak to our Workforce Coordinator who will be able to expedite
services for your client.
If you are interested in providing information about the resources that your agency provides, or leading a community engagement activity, please contact our Community Engagement Workshop Coordinator to learn more. You will find more information about this program on our Community Engagement page.
